| Drum Lessons |
 I have been teaching drum lessons for several years and have had students in ages ranging from 2 to 42. I'm looking for students who want to learn how to
listen and express themselves musically while gaining
coordination and an improved sense of rhythm(s).
Styles I have studied and/or taught include: all or
most styles of jazz from 1900's-present, free
improvisation, rock & roll, blues, hard rock, prog. rock,
reggae, funk, punk, Cuban, Brazilian, Latin, West African
and Native American. I feel I could benefit drummers of all levels of experience. I work hard to customize my teaching to reflect what you want and need to learn. I usually emphasize being able to listen and play by ear but often incorporate how to read music as well. I also teach other necessities such as balance, drum tuning and music history. |

| My basic rate is $20 an hour plus gas to travel. |
